Biography of Julie Garton-Good

Julie Garton-Good, DREI, C-CREC, is one of only two women to make the National Association of REALTORS® "Most Influential" list twice, once in 1997 and again in 2000; but you may recognize her as a well-known international speaker and author of seven books including "All About Mortgages" and "Real Estate a la Carte: Selecting the Services You Need, Paying What They're Worth".

As a broker who began using fee-for-services consulting more than two decades ago, Julie is the first real estate educator to do one-on-one research regarding what consumers' want in the real estate process and what they're willing to pay for. Authoring the Consumer-Certified Real Estate Consultant® (C-CREC®) designation course and founding the National Association of Real Estate Consultants (NAREC) culminates seven years of research on the subject.

Julie is the sole three-time recipient of the Real Estate Educator Association's "International Educator of the Year" award receiving it in 1985, 1994 and 2002. Known as "America's Home Affordability Expert" she addresses more than 25,000 people each year on real estate industry trends and consumers' issues.
